Pamphlet street dates and NFT windows are different clocks

9 July 2026

A pamphlet’s street date is the day a physical Marvel comic is expected on the shop rack. An NFT comic drop window is a listing hour for a digital issue. App Work Core keeps them in different fields because mixing them produces a nonsense Marvel NFT comic release calendar.

What readers mix up

Someone sees Wednesday’s pamphlet in a shop, then treats a Friday NFT reprint window as if the book “came out again” as a first appearance. The issue card exists to stop that filing error. The first mint NFT hour stays put.

Solicitations versus listings

Publisher solicitations, when we cite them, are labelled as solicitations. Marketplace listing hours are labelled as listings. We do not promote one as more official than the other on our board; we only refuse to overwrite.

Shop practice

Volunteers who already hang a print calendar can hang the NFT sheet beside it. Two pieces of paper beat one crowded grid that pretends paper and tokens share a single clock.
